I grew up in the resort town of Sunapee, NH, my mother was a reading specialist for elementary, my Dad sold heavy vehicle equipment (John Deere & Caterpillar). My mother infused me with the love of language and words. I started writing poetry for kids in 2000 when my oldest was in kindergarten and brought home a book … something about Barking Spiders. It was love at first rhyme!!
